I am 56 years old. Recently, the Lord fulfilled a promise He made to me, and I am now living out that promise. Yet, I find myself standing at a place where I am asking: What now? What comes next? What is still waiting for me?
Do I have a future? What will my future look like?
As I sat with these questions, I found myself asking a deeper question: What is happiness? How does one find true happiness?
Then I read in Ecclesiastes that wealth and pleasure do not bring lasting happiness. That made me wonder even more: If possessions, achievements, and worldly things cannot give us true happiness, where do we find it?
I want to invite people to join me on this journey of searching for that answer — the journey towards a place where we can honestly say: “I am happy. I have found joy and meaning in my life.”
Come and walk this journey with me. Let us share thoughts, experiences, struggles, and discoveries along the way.
I look forward to this journey together.

ReplyDeleteSo, I've decided to do something about my weight. I'm eating healthier, exercising, and making better choices every day. It isn't easy, but I believe I'll get there.
Something interesting has already started to happen. I feel a little happier.
Maybe happiness is connected to taking care of our bodies. Perhaps when we nourish ourselves well and move more, our minds and hearts begin to heal too.
We'll see where this journey leads.
This morning, I stepped on the scale and discovered I had lost 1.3 kg—from 106.8 kg to 105.5 kg. It's only the beginning, but every step forward is worth celebrating.
I've realized that there are things I can change, and there are things I cannot.
So I'll change what I can... and leave the rest to God.
